Your Village Hall, at the heart of the Lophams

Bonfire collection — every weekend in October

Every Saturday and Sunday in October, 10am–2pm, including Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November.

Bring your wood and green garden waste along to the hall and we will add it to the bonfire.

£2 per car £5 per trailer or van

Cash or card payments both accepted on site.

What we can — and cannot — take

• Wood
• Green garden waste — branches, hedge trimmings and prunings

Sorry, no

• Tyres
• Sofas, mattresses and other furniture
• Household or general rubbish, and rubble
• Plastics
• Anything containing metal, glass, foam, oil, paint, gas or chemicals

Loads containing these items will have to be turned away.

Small print: payment on arrival, by cash or card. All loads are accepted at the marshals' discretion, and anything left with us becomes the property of Lophams' Village Hall. Please follow the marshals' directions on site, keep children with you at all times, and wear suitable footwear — the field can be soft and uneven, and unloading is at your own risk. Collection may close early if the bonfire is full or in poor weather. Vehicles and their contents are brought onto the site at the owner's risk; the Village Hall Committee accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury however caused, save where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
