The Lophams' Village Hall Management Committee is running a monthly lottery, specifically to help fund improvements to the Hall and its facilities. The draw takes place at the monthly Farmers' Market and there are three cash prizes each month. Entry is by monthly subscription of £5.00 for 5 chances or multiples thereof with a maximum of 100 entries. Minimum entry age is 18. The first prize is 40% of that month's stake money with 2 runner up prizes of 10% of that month's stake money. 5% is reserved for an annual extra draw into which all entries current at the time and which have been held continuously for 6 months or more will be entered; the first of these will be in December 2010. The remaining 35% will be applied to Village Hall improvement projects.
